I got invited to a big 50th anniversary do at the skatepark today

I've decided to do my best to live as much life as I can possibly manage from now on me

At least I've just managed to catch that flaming fruit fly

Blooming thing flying about in front of me
I thought it was my floaters going nuts

I hate those things. Those swatters are good though. Fly papers are even better, even if they're horrible to look at. Incredibly cheap too. But they're getting hard to find in the shops.

We get a lot of wasps here so I have to put mosquito nets at all the windows in the summer

Insect nets are standard in Arkansas. Their insects are an absolute nightmare. One summer I was out in a car that was roasting inside because the cooler had conked, and we parked it just as the sun went down, and opened the windows. Bad mistake. Millions of mosquitos barged in for a free lunch. It was like something out of Supernatural. Spent the next hour swatting them. Little spots of blood all over the inside of the car afterwards.

Oh man I hate mosquitoes but for some reason they seem to love me

Greece was the worst place for them for me

I don't know why people ever settled in some of these insecty places.

OK, Mr. Internet says they were there first but then they evolved to go after us especially, so I suppose they did a kind of bait-and-switch job on the humans. And I suppose people didn't know why they were catching diseases so they'd have thought it was just a bit annoying and not worth moving north for.

I love all things bright and beautiful me
And I love all creatures great and small
But them things are from flipping hell
