Hello, ProfessorX, Concerning your avatar with pyramids ( You should read the book, 'Pyramids', by Terry Pratchett), I just finished reading 'The Third Gate', by Lincoln Child!
Concerns the Pharoahwho united Upper and Lower Egypt, the first to wear the Crown of Two Kingdoms.....love Egyptology!

I don't know if I'm going to be popular or unpopular today. I guess that it depends on how other members respond to the first thread that I've made in months. I don't start too many threads on here anymore. Being a sensitive soul, it's better that I post in the threads of the other members, rather than start my own threads just to get attacked.

Yeah, I like Poe and Lovecraft. I don't read tons of horror stuff, but when I do, their writing definitely does the trick. Poe was an incredible craftsman. Lovecraft creates unbelievably vivid and atmospheric worlds.
