I thought SFU came out about 2005 or so. I'll have to research this.

1. I often wish I could sing opera.

2. I often wish I could play a musical instrument.

3. I thought I could be a good father when I was in my 20s.

It came out in 2001, but I didn't see it then (it ended 2005).

I think 1. You're a doo-opper at heart.

Is it the third one?

Yep. #3. I have a sort of yearning to be a good dad.....but it hasn't happened yet. I had no confidence that I could be a good dad when I was in my 20s.

I started getting into doo-wopp the same time I really got into girls----the second half of when I was 14.

Somehow I don't think confidence would be a helpful thing in being a parent. Just my 2cents but children are always such a surprise you are never prepared for them. Better to be uncertain and feel your way into it I think.

1. My oldest child is about to turn 50

2. My youngest child has given me four grandchildren

3. My middle child is a girl

Oh goodness, I should know these, feels.

I think 1. I know you were a young mother but I don't think quite that young.

I sense the lie is #2. Maybe three, or five grandchildren?

1. I don't even have a kid, no less a grandkid.

2. I believe I will be a grandfather (while alive) some day, despite this.

3. I've always wanted to be like the dad in "The Courtship of Eddie's Father."

@Kraftie.

I'll pick 3, although I've never seen "The Courtship of Eddie's father" so I've no idea how that character acts.

1) I have a thing for musicals, even the ridiculous ones.

2) Sometimes I wonder what fan theories people would come up with if I were a character in a book (about my character, assuming that I would act the same), despite knowing how self-centred that makes me come across.

3) I was obsessed with Lego.

I would say #3 for Lost Dragon.

My lie is #2. I'm 57 years old with no kid until I'm at least 58 1/2. If I become a grandfather when I'm alive, it would be a miracle!

1. I made out with a girl. I called her Joanne while I made out with her. Her name was actually (fictional) Penelope. She became my fiancée.

2. I confused Neil Armstrong with Louis Armstrong in a conversation recently.

3. I forgot Richard Milhous Nixon's name quite a few times.

You make me laugh so hard, Kortie (58.5 -- wow, I did the math and you're correct almost to the week!)

Neil Armstrong on sax -- :?: :!: I'm nearly choking on that even though I adore Louis Armstrong.
(Do you know West End Blues?)

Back to reality I think your lie is 3. Penelope is a great name, though! It reminds me of Priscilla!

1. I used to watch golf with my dad. In 1973, the intro for the golf coverage was "Love's Theme" by "Love Unlimited," which was Barry White's group.

2. My father and I used to listen to chess tournaments on the radio together.

3. My father and I used to watch the Professional Bowlers Tour together.

There are chess tournaments on the radio? Is that a joke?
