Why don't dogs and cats have belly buttons?
I know they DID have umbilical cords :?

maybe hidden under their fur? if not maybe its different when the cord falls instead of being cut and tied.

You know, I never thought about that. My mom recently had a cat that had kittens and the cat was a little ret*d, so she didn't really understand what was happening as she was giving birth. The cat would drop a kitten then run away, so my mom had to run around behind her, find the kittens, tie off the umbilical and put them in a box. I'll have to ask her if they have belly buttons, because I thought of it the same way as Raph.
