My brother defended me today. One of his friends, who does drugs such as LSD and magic mushrooms, said that my prescription drugs are "artificial happiness" and that they're so dangerous that if he were me, he would have committed suicide over taking them. My brother flew into a rage, telling his friend that he didn't know anything about the kind of psychological torment I suffered before getting the prescriptions.

I know that my brother and I have grown up into very different people over the past couple of years, but it warms my heart to see that he still loves me so much. :)

I just arranged to change the insurance company for my car. Not only will I be paying some 250 Euros less next year, but I managed to do the paperwork all by myself. :D

Passing a van that had 'FIFE SUCKS!' and 'I EAT BAIRNS!' written in the dust on the window on my way to the corner shop.

Got another one. Seems to be a particularly good day. :D

Here's an excerpt from an email my sister sent me today:

Quote:

And a rough translation to English:

Quote:
Now you can better understand what is "different" about you (I hope you know what I want to say with this (if not, I do NOT mean this to be to be rude in any way)) and you can accept it. By doing that you can find to your inner self and can be more content and relaxed about everything. I really hope for you that you will keep moving into the right direction. Who knows, maybe it is not just an extrovert phase, but a lasting result of self-acceptance.
Should ever need someone to talk to, I'll always be there for you.

This makes me even more happy that I decided to tell her about my AS. I couldn't ask for more in a sis.

A couple days ago I received a book in the mail that I had ordered from a major book company. The book is a biography about a major music pioneer. I am in the book (a little over a half page) about me.

tom delay conviction. of course he will get off with a wristslap, courtesy of high-priced legal talent. but it's the principle which matters here.
