If the globe were shrunk down to the size of a cue ball, it would be considerably smoother than the average commercially manufactured cue ball.

bobby driscol's(treasure island, voice of peter pan) life was not an easy one as he got older. he got into drugs and eventually died of heart failure from drug abuse. no one knew who he was and was buried as a john doe. one year later his fingerprints were checked and his identity was discovered.

I am listening to opera right now. Not that I like opera. the soprano just hit a warbling trill note that sounded like she could not possibly have intended it - but I think she did. LOL! that may be why I sometimes listen to opera.

Edgar Allan Poe's poem "To Helen" (the 1st one) was actually written about a woman named Jane. However, he didn't like the name Jane and so called her Helen.

Urine is sterile, but spit is not. So if you have a choice, being peed on is healthier.

Both Roger Bannister and his Australian rival, John Landy, were running under adverse circumstances at the 1954 Empire Games in Vancouver, Canada. Roger Bannister was struggling against a chest cold; John Landy cut his foot on a broken flashbulb some photographer had thoughtlessly discarded. Bannister was first in the Empire Games and Landy second, both in under four minutes. Roger Bannister improved on his time at Iffley Road, but John Landy was the mile record holder at the time.

The current mile record is held by Moroccan Hicham el Guerrouj. Before El Guerrouj, an Algerian, Noureddine Morceli held the record.

As a friend once said, "Every cat has a bestselling novel inside of them. However, they're too smug to let us know."

And cats can understand English and do plot for revenge. If you don't think so, insult one of mine while they're in the room.
