I walked into a British food store yesterday and something wonderful happened. I'm in love with England, again!

The UK or just England ? What food made you fall in love with England again?

It was the experience of walking into the store that made me fall in love all over again.

Is it just me or do you have to be practically dead to get a hospital appointment?

Your exaggerating, as long as you remove a limb and go in with it under your arm, your wait will usually be within reason. Obviously you won't get one by just going to your GP, they don't want the appointments all wasted on sick people.

I herd on the radio last week a clip that we had the best health care in the world :o , then I didn't hear anything more. I just looked it up and it turns out the claim was made by Theresa May. It's kind of nice to learn she has a sense oh humour.

OK, I've given this some serious consideration now, and come to the conclusion that they are being sensible. People who are practically dead are more likely to die than people who are just ill, thus they don't hog the beds.

Sense of humour?

She is stark raving mad.

It is a shame because we did at one point in history have the best healthcare system - but not on her watch!

I am inclined to agree with your conclusion - it did cross my mind.

Just had a phone call - it was a recorded ( computer voice ) message claiming to be from HM revenue saying that I was in serious trouble 8O and had to act instantly 8O otherwise I would face serious consequences 8O , the voice gives out a number to ring and claims they are Officer Lisa Williams from HM revenue , the message ends , 'have a blessed day'

Seriously though , how many people fall for this

There are some pretty vulnerable people who do fall for this and other scams, unfortunately.
I have had this call too - I have had some fun with similar calls

It was a recorded message otherwise I would of played along until I got bored ( hoping that I get put on a cold callers block list for being a time waster )

Hey Fluffy,

I like your writing style.

Have you published or thinking of publishing a book yet?

Yeah....I'm a little jealous myself.

Fluffy probably has a more nuanced view of things than I do.

I am too much desirous of the "straight and narrow" to become a decent writer. I try to avoid discord too much.
