A group of people are individuals. The same applies to, for example, "Christians are raving nutters" - but not to "Christianity is raving mad".

Moderators are also WP members and protected by the same rules as any other member. That we have thicker skins than most other members is still no excuse for making attacks.

^I think I understand Joe's frustration. Her post was deleted but other members' posts of the same nature were not deleted. I thought it was an inconsistent application of rules.
A post was removed on July 11 because it was speculating about the possibility of a member being banned. The site rules do not allow for such discussions, as I explained privately at the time it was removed.

The next post specifically and individually removed was on Jun 10th because it was an isolated, short rant consisting heavily of swearing and unrelated to posts nearby. While the auto-censor is considered adequate in most cases and would permit "casual" swearing, this post was going much too far. Ideally we want to maintain WP as a family-friendly space and this single post fell short of that expectation. There were no others of a similar nature.
This was also all explained at the time of the removal.

There were two or three others that were removed between now and then as part of a thread tidy-up (removing an off topic section for example) - but this had nothing to do with Joe90: those housekeeping activities were addressed to the thread itself, not a person.

There may have been one or two other individual posts - let me know if there were.

Somewhere upthread here, and I think, others, I've responded to a similar post from you saying that if there is anything about a moderator action that seems inconsistent, especially where there's a post which appears as though it should have been subject to the same actions, REPORT IT.
The same applies to any post you feel is breaking a site rule or concerns you in other ways - REPORT IT.

Short of running around blowing a trumpet I don't know how to make it any clearer but as always, crickets...

Off leash dogs

Tripping hazards

Precious lil "people" that talk so much and so loud they gimmie a headache, especially when they expect or demand an answer

"Huh" and "what" instead of "excuse me"

Some day laborers have the nerve to call me "Chino" like it's my name

When precious lil "people" mock me

Litterbox out of order at work

"Can you", like if you "can", you have to

"Why" about everything they don't understand or like. (Just accept it)

Wrongful accusations

Dirty location

Lil dipshits that act like I invented the world's worst felony when they think I did something wrong. But when it ends up they were wrong, not even an email apology

Coworkers I like, like Jim and don, leaving while annoying ass holes stay

Phone not working

When someone flakes, especially job interviews

Idiots making comments about the way I walk and talk

@Cornflake

Why don't you do what I'm always advised to do when triggered: ignore or take with a grain of salt? Now I look bad.

I always feel a bit ripped off when I'm eating a bag of popcorn and I come across a bit of unpopped corn

I wasn't triggered. You made a direct attack; that should be addressed - and now it has been addressed, with a :shameonyou: being sufficient, that's an end to the matter. It's nothing formal.
There were also other details WRT deleted posts that required further explanation.

People who behave like brats and think everyone else is the problem.

I feel a bit cheated when I buy a six pack of blue rolls and they have no perforations in them or the perforations are uneven.

Colleagues are a huge pet peeve for me.

I don’t think some of mine have ever been children.

"Sweet chilli" flavor. What's the point? Sweetness destroys the hot chilli flavor.

Plus, sweet chilli sauce always gives me hiccups, whereas hot chilli is fine.

When I want to know my password for a site.
I go to the site and it logs me in automatically, or else it shows me the ********* with no words.
I go to my Google saved passwords thing, and it's not in the list even though I'm autosaved.

It's impossible to figure out what the actual password is.
I go to "change password" to see it with the little eyeball icon, but I have to enter it first.

I hate touch-typing "Thank". I propose that we abolish this user-unfriendly word. And then, we can change the meaning of the word "f**k" and use it to replace this inferior word "Thank".
