Making a start on our tea now.

I'm gonna be cooking pork belly, sweet potato mash, normal potatoes for me and cabbage and gravy (of course l).

It doesn't take long once it's all in.

I like it when food takes quick to cook because I'm quick to eat it

Problems on the potato front. There was too many to cook in one go so there will be a slight delay unfortunately

That's one hell of a tea recipe. Around here we just boil water and pour it over teabags.. boom; done! 8)

I bbq'd a half dozen really good angus beef hamburgers a couple days ago and there were a couple leftover. Last night I was up Very Late and was a bit intoxicated so decided to put together a burger at 3am. Toasted some sourdough bread, heated up a burger patty, a butterflied mango jalapeño chicken sausage and several strips of precooked bacon. Added marble cheddar, ranch dressing, tajin seasoning salt, a bit of some other cuban style citrus seasoning salt, black pepper, and a couple rings of dried pineapple covered in chilli dust.

It was definitely one of the biggest best tasting hamburgers I've thrown together in a long time. 8) Ate a few pieces of semi-dried ginger, too.. probably helped to not have a terrible gut rot feeling lol but stilllll... quite a heavy meal for 3am and this morning I have a bit of regret for drinking/smoking/eating.. I mean, I don't have a nasty hangover or anything - just feel a bit groggy and having a bit of a "What am I doing with myself?" sort of moment. Like time for a salad and some chicken and get in motion and get a bunch of things done vs. be drink/smoke & be lazy. Was a tasty burger, though!

Noooorrrmallly I wouldn't be intoxicated late on a Sunday night & throwing together a 3am feast like that these days - that's more something I might have done after closing down a bar I worked at 18 years ago or something.. however, I had a gorgeous young reason to be up late last night. t'was a fantastic Sin Sunday and after burning a few calories and smoking up an appetite it was time to eat. :D

Cheap pork sausages with scrambled eggs for breakfast this morning. That was the extent of my culinary adventures. Had a Coronation Chicken sandwich from Aldi for my evening meal.

Had a pre-made bagged salad and some chicken for brunch, having a protein shake w/ banana now and off to go help move tools and scaffolding for some old guys that need my young guy help. Probably gonna have a couple beers for a late dinner tbh lol

White fish pieces (basa), cooked in an ovenproof glass dish, with mashed potato. It felt a little odd buying a single large potato (cost 26 pence) at the supermarket.

Has anyone here ever tried this? I'm quite interested in doing so, but a lot of people in the comments on the video report that the eggs have exploded.
