I wanna go to school!
I tried writing down some poems, and was exhausted and lost focus.
I also feel fat and hungry again...I have a headache.
I feel like self-pitying....but I know I have friends....I just don't feel like talking but then I do. But, auuuuuuuugh. I wonder how much listening to music would affect my poem skills, I really want to write some more..I just don't have the focus.
Then write whatever comes to mind, regardless of whether or not it is good. Decide what is good and what isn't later.
True....but I'm trying to compile a book of all my poetry. I went at it last time...but these are poems from 5/6 years ago and I am aggravated at my talent or lack of it back then. I want to re-write everything, but I also want to get everything down. 2-in-1 project.
I'm writing a book. I have it in two files in my computer. Chapters that I am happy with, which is about 150kb. And chapters that I am not in any way happy with, that is almost 1mb. That is 1mb of pure, grade A donkey dung, vs 150kb of reasonably good. Just keep the poems you are happy with.
But I am happy with parts of poems, ad unhappy with other parts. Plus, I've been coddled my whole life and told that all my poems are good by people who couldn't rhyme to save their life. It's not best to be your own critic. I am unsure. Some are as clear as day, and I only write down the original one to show how they have grown. Others, they feel a bit off, but I can't put my finger on it. Some are pretty good but could be improved...and some are good. I just don't know.
Every chapter in that 150kb file started as donkey dung. And I am sure there are plenty of WP members who would be happy to offer honest criticism of your poems.
I guess...but I really hate bugging people for favors that way because then I need to reciprocate (as standard social protocol) and I don't have the focus for that. I'm also hand writing everything so I can have a hard copy. I guess typing it will be the third project.
If some one asks you to critique there writing/art/what ever, then just do it in your own time, why rush? Why not type then print? Or type the ones you like or write the ones your like...
Haha, they have...I still need to. I will procrastinate things if I don't put a deadline on it. Like, I am writing a penpal...it took me 3 months to get the first response off. It's been a month and I haven't sent or written the second one. I randomly remember things.
I need to do both now...my mind is convinced. First the writing, then the typing.
That's what Sticky Notes are for
Trying to write them down nicely in a notebook...so I have a hardcopy. I did it once....just need to focus on it. That's it, when I come back from running, it's muy project, while watching Psych. This is so happening.
Writing sticky notes down in a notebook? That's silly. j/k
I put mine where I will notice them, door knobs for example.
Ha.
I want all the poems on notebook paper in one notebook.
