Dear MjrMajorMajor,

Thank you so much for reminding me of that little dead kid lurking under the bed, cutting people's ankles with a scalpel!

I don't like "scary" movies as such. I prefer horror-comedies that play it all as a giant pisstake (bit like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2) or perhaps the European 'terror' subgenre, but there aren't many of those and those I do want to see haven't had an official, English-subtitled, uncut DVD release anywhere.

Dear Tequila,

What about 'Shaun Of The Dead'?

What about 'Return Of The Living Dead?'

What about 'The Evil Dead'?

What about 'Army Of Darkness'?

Shaun of the Dead: I liked it quite a bit, although I haven't seen it in a while.

Return of the Living Dead: Haven't seen it.

The Evil Dead: I've seen it a few times, but it's not a film I particularly like. I think it's very overrated. I probably would have liked Evil Dead II more.

Army of Darkness: Saw it when I was a teenager. Don't remember much about the film.

Have you seen Braindead? The uncut version, not the Dead Alive cut.

I'll admit that I've seen pure horror films both grade A and B as well as comedic horrors for, I'm not a strict horror genre fan.. So as not to overload this thread in terms of topic I'll simply say that Peter Sraub's"Ghost Story" gave me the creeps especially during the beginning of the film where that guy went crashing through the high rise apartment window for, as back in 1994 where I lived there was a big window in my living room apartment and never did stand near to it..

Oh, welcome Blue Max sir..

Dear ProfessorX,

Thank you for the picture of Damian!

'The Omen' was one scary film;

And that nanny?

Whoah!

I have a guilty pleasure of enjoying the new "Walking Dead" TV series and Shaun of the Dead is more funny than scary... anything more than that really disturbs me and I don't like it. :(

"Hot Fuzz" sounds like a dirty movie.

Dear BlueMax,

If you do not like 'Scary-scary', then you probably do not watch 'American Horror Story', the scariest show on T.V.!

I am ignored or treated like a creep wherever I go. This thread is just what I need.
