fireguns and wood stain

In the early Peanuts comics the characters were a lot different and pretty weird. Charlie Brown was younger, was usually happier and would make wise cracks or even play pranks on the other kids. Snoopy was a dog that acted like a dog, running around and barking and stuff. He didn't speak either, but then later his thoughts were shown, but in weird squiggly voice balloons instead of thought clouds. He later became less like a dog and more like a human. Lucy was a toddler with weird, googly eyes that some people complained were too creepy, so they were changed to just dots with circles around them. Charlie Brown often had to babysit her where she'd make the usual demands of a two year old in adorably mispronounced words. Then she aged up and was still younger than Charles, but she became what he called a "fussbudget". It was sometime after Linus was introduced into the strip that Lucy became the bossy, crabby girl we know and love. Or hate.

My teddy bear is so cute I just feel like biting it.

My sister apparently doesn't know it yet, but she's in her husband's life to take care of him in his old age. She probably thinks there's more to it than that. When he's gone she won't even be able to stay in the house. That'll go to his family. Weird thing is, she knows that part.

I have learned a lot about narcissists, so I was able to avoid my sister's husband lording over her and me both, by turning down his offer of help.

I have a lot to learn about narcissists, so I did not realize he'd lord it over her even if I turned him down.

It's the week between Christmas and New Years and no one is available to approve needed services. It's not like people with disabilities don't have needs this week.

sorta dreading the new year. but dreading it less than i otherwise would.

Since I got no work tomorrow...

This means I can take advantage at the fact that I'm better getting things done at night and people are expected to be up so late tomorrow.


So no sleep for me unless I start feeling like it.
