Hopefully my car will be actually fixed on Monday without the run around from the people at the Garage.

That thing where you think you're doing something that people would label insane but is actually quite innovative, but then you find out that someone else has already done it and it's considered 'normal' by insane standards.

Got a couple of inches of snow in the last hour. If it wouldn't drive my neighbors nuts, I'd go shovel now so I have a few inches less to move come morning. Alas, it is too late for all that. I wonder how much snow we'll end up getting here. I have lil man coming over tomorrow to stay the night. Maybe we should build a snow fort or something. That could be fun. I should text his mom (my daughter) and have her send his snow pants with him.

School doesn't teach you about unemployment and what to do about it. I don't blame them, because I know their goal is to prevent you from that situation, but it actually sucked being unemployed and not knowing what to do and where to get any financial help.

I finally have a job now, but even then it's going to take me a few months before all my debts are paid off, until next year when I have to repay my old student loans as well :/

Why did I have to turn 18 ;_;

I went to get some American dollars yesterday since I'm traveling to NYC next week and, well, it was my first time seeing real American dollar live, and my first thought when I saw them was "Are you sure those aren't toy money?" Dunno why, they just looked so... weird. I've handled foreign currency before, but this was the first time I had those thoughts. US dollars are weird. :lol:

I still am really confused about how my coworkers just strike up random conversations with each other, and how the coworkers my age all seem to automatically get along and joke around with each other all the time. I feel really lonely over it. No one tries to talk to me or wants to continue conversations with me, and I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong and what other people are doing right.

A real long term break from my worst issue that is chronically sneezing.

It's not perfect, but at least it IS manageable. More manageable than "basically nothing works".
No longer unpredictable or annoying taking up space in my time of the day.

Then it just replaced with something else to complain over -- and those were the things I hadn't able to complain no thanks to having chronic rhinitis being upfront as the most disruptive of symptoms.

It's, like, a particular dominating background noise is finally gone. Or at least gone way more often than the helpless expectation sh*t I've been putting up for years.
From 'getting lucky with few days worth a year, few hours a month of my waking life and very dissatisfied' to 'at least few hours a day'.
It's one of the most decent contrasting change I've experienced.

Now I'm hearing other background noises (sensations that I'm sure I'm hearing (feeling) the whole time), but wasn't able to take a closer look at it because it wasn't as disruptive.

Yet for now -- I'd settle with killing the habits I gained growing up coping with this nuisance.
