I'd like some Chinese takeout right now, but it's a little late to be eating a full meal.

Enjoying my Spring Break, even though it'll be in my case an "extended" Spring Break because
I didn't pay the full amount for Winter Term.

However, I'll still visit my college's free food market to get groceries whenever possible.

The sound that the Amber Alert system makes is the most jarring thing ever. It activates my fight or flight response when it happens out of nowhere, I hate it. That and the EAS. lmao

I watched the movie Wonder the other day, and it got me thinking how much I can relate to the little boy with a deformed face. I am not deformed, I have a normal face, but I might as well have a deformed face by how I get treated when I'm in public. People stare, I can feel it without me having to look at them, even though I am a non-obvious Aspie/ADHD who doesn't flap my hands or wring my hands or do any other odd movements that people might think are weird. I just stand up straight and go about my business, and I feel like I don't need to be stared at. But I do. And that's why I can relate so much to August Pullman, and how unsettling and undignifying it is to be stared at non-discreetly in public. That's why I hide away a lot, except when I'm going to work. But I get my boyfriend to drive me to work and back because I just cannot face the non-verbal abuse I get for just being another normal-looking human by strangers who don't even know me. It isn't fair.

Just trying to be human and make my way across the oceans avoiding the turbulent waves and storms of personal torments and unpleasant people.
