Time.
Today I've been at work for over 14 hours. I only have 1 day off which is during Sundays.
On a side, I'm trying to manage the local PWD organization. And occassionally subbing my boss for her own position which I do not mind so far.
Coworker, the secretary, who was new, and supposedly been there early, was working for 10 hours. She went at least half an hour later and went out at least 3 hours earlier.
She only comes during Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. So far being usually late at Mondays, when she's supposedly early.
Why can't she manage this? Isn't she supposedly, well, an 'NT'?
Maam boss, who's coping with a form of chronic pain for over a month now, was working for who knows how long -- and was only working in the work place for about a good 10 hours. We went out at the same time today.
Her day offs usually around Mondays, and was doing some part time during Sundays. On a side, was studying to pass a board exam. Is also a PWD officer, but was too busy.
Then there's Sir boss. Who's working for like 7 days a week. 12 hours a day on a regular. Not to mention he also drives hours long trips back and forth. Was in the work place for 5 hours.
Yet was also working for at least 6 hours earlier at a hospital nearby, and is currently the head and owner, doing all the legal business paperwork in the background.
Nevermind any of our personal lives and other pursuits.
Why is every minute suddenly became too valuable?
"Well I don't wanna wake up yet. Give me another 10 minutes."
10 minutes -- it's all I need to undress, shower and put clothes myself.
10 mins and a few is all I need to bike to work.
10 mins and a few is all I need to clean up the place a bit.
10 mins is all I need to eat all the food I've managed to make for over 20 mins while waiting for like another 10 mins to cool down and nevermind cleaning up right after.
10 mins is all I need to wash a batch of my clothes in the laundry.
10 mins is all I need to wash my bedsheets, pillow cases, blanket and curtains. Nevermind taking it all off and presoaking them before wringing them dry.
10 mins is all I need to wait the spin dryer to dry all my clothes before hanging.
10 minutes can be so long if one tries to meditate without getting distracted.
10 mins can be so long if one is really bored and was forced to do nothing -- not even maladaptive day dreams.
