I don't like cinnamon. Especially it's smell.

But when I put a bit of it on my oatmeal, I feel a bit apprehensive about it.
Then I ate it... It's not so bad. :|

My body and subconscious is judging it, but my conscious mind and subjective thoughts don't.
It really isn't so bad.

It's not a 'tolerable' kind of 'not bad', it's the 'its better than I anticipated but... We'll see..' kind of not bad.

I can say the same with turmeric, which is more foreign, weirder smell and looking.

Maybe because the oatmeal watered down the flavors' intensity.
Maybe this is the dish I'll make whenever I'm acquiring tastes of different spices and appearances.

Maybe not just spices.
Maybe even different ways of how meat was cooked.
Since I already able to mix it with fried chicken. Why not other recipes?

Clues for an easter hunt my daughter is trying to put together for her son. That's what's on my mind. My daughter wants to hide things throughout her house and write out clues for lil man about where the stuff is hidden so he can go find it all. She sent me a text this morning asking if I'd help and write out some clues for her. I told her I'd brainstorm some over breakfast and send her the results. That was about two hours ago now and my brain still keeps conjuring these frickin clues. I'm not even sending them to her anymore. She has all she needs. My brain isn't catching up with this reality though and I'm struggling to focus as I'm unintentionally flooding my headspace with cheesey, rhyming, easter hunt clues.

Oh gosh I did that for my daughter one year when I was out of town. She was an adult but I wanted to cheer her up being home alone. They were funny but challenging clues and she loved it so much. Wish I knew her house so I could help.

Yesterday, while walking home from the bart station, back hurts. Backpack felt heavy, but it only had a book and lunch.

Maybe I have to stop walking to the bart station. It is not that far away but with back pain it's just too much. 40 is pretty old.

Then I have to eat less. Which saves cash on food and shoes, even after taking into account bus fare

Emotional overeating

Aikido

Back hurts way too much to even think about aikido. (Even if $$$, vaccine, and self righteous "instructors" were not the issue). Plenty of aikido customers and instructors much older than me. They are not in perfect health. How do they do it?

Back has been hurting a lot lately. Paranoid that my worthless corpse will get weaker and weaker and get made redundant from work. Work is manual labor. Then no source of income. Just panhandling.

Trying to survive the seemingly neverending Easter Bank Holiday nonsense - Good Friday, then Easter Sunday, and still Easter Monday to come. I try to get through it with a mixture of sleeping for as long as possible, and drinking wine. Just wish things would get back to normal....

It's not the end of it either - we still have Mayday to come, and then the May Bank holiday (formerly 'Whit Monday').

And not to mention the King's coronation

I've been getting an extra lie in for most of the last quarter of a century, it has its drawbacks, y'know.

Tomorrow is a hectic day.

And why do I feel like I never had rest?
Just way less primed for work and more tired.
And I hadn't able to do my chores.

No thanks to... Whatever I'm complaining for most of my life. :x
