That was from Café 1847 at Booths in Garstang. It was about £6.50 as I recall. It's a vegetarian version of chilli con carne. The chilli was, erm, very spicy - so much so that I actually struggled to eat it! Bit too spicy for me.

I would post a menu but I don't have a PDF version to post. I have a photo of the menu though?

a packet of chinese rice. the microwaveable kind. i still cant believe that its so easy to prepare. it takes ages for rice to boil the normal way and sometimes it doesnt cook evenly. i mean the microwave rice wasnt perfect- it was chewey- but i liked it.

Toasted sandwich of egg, mustard, tuna and cheese (needed stronger cheese) with some mayo and mango chutney on the side as dips.
Also a tray of dried fruit from my graze box.
It was all very yummy and now I am all full up.

I'm having a sandwich day! For tea I've just had a toasted sandwich of nutella, apple, banana and peanut butter with little dishes of yoghurt and honey for dipping! These would go very well in an English muffin I believe (makes note of it...)
