Not much. Groceries in the morning. Worked on the Higonokami I carry so the blade has better retention in the handle and also doesn't bash against the inner-spine of such, which can take the apex off the edge after one too many times (I usually just used cardboard to line it, but I did a permanent fix to it). It's an alright slicing knife for something like a seat belt and can do some harder slicing tasks if you're careful with it (you can make a fire with it just fine). Just straight slicing, and even the budget ones are in alright steel (SK5 tool steel).

Day to day stuff.

Got the canoe up on my shoulders, pulling it up on my thighs and swinging it up over my head. Essential for remote wilderness traveling.

Groceries earlier in the morning. I was a little more strategic with purchasing choices just in case I miss a window again. Attempting to create a word for how I feel. The day is just beginning, and I haven't decided on what I want to do when it comes to home stuff. Painting or yardwork are the choices.

Walked the dog, fed the outside cat, pulled weeds, made scrambled eggs, did laundry, watched ‘The Closer’, showered, walked the dog a couple more times

Got my self a very nice coffee “pressed “cup of Monterey something coffee , that I hid from myself in the refrigerator years ago, when had more money. Then promptly went into the living room , sat down and spilt the entire cup into the couch, so am washing the couch cover, made myself another cup of coffee and managed to schedule a appt with a plumber to look at a kitchen sink faucet that barely runs any cold water . In spite of a OOPPSS. Or two am still getting stuff done. Today . And tomorrow will be another day .

slept most of the night without benefit of my normal HEPA brown noise generator or night time stretching/toning exercises, in the pitch blackness of a power outage and also a phone outage due to somebody going off the road and creaming a power substation and also in the process taking out phone lines, so most of the northern part of the county was bereft of power and phone service. got up at about 9 and used my relatively novel cell phone to call in the phone and power outages, found out the specifics of it. power and phone came back 3 hours ahead of schedule. yay.

Worked a full day (nine hours actually), and got home in time to let the Orkin man into the house as per the time they texted me. But the @#%&*$ Orkin man never showed!
