When I was younger I memorized Lewis Carrol's "Jabberwocky" poem, with all of its strange and seemingly nonsensical words. I can still say the entire poem to this day. Maybe it was *because* it had so many strange words that I'm able to do so, and of course rhymes can make anything easier to remember.
