I had boiled eggs on muffins for my evening meal. I boiled the eggs on the only working hotplate on my cooker (the other three are dead).

I cannot remember ever cooking a whole chicken myself. I'm sure my mother has. But it's just one of those things that why on Earth would I cook one when I can buy a whole roasted chicken hot and ready to eat from Costco for $7.99?? (up to $12.99 elsewhere.)

So far just had a few little chilli tamarind bits and a couple chocolates with my coffee. I don't think I'll Cook much today - but maybe later. Going to to visit the old guy and his wife in the hospital midday and said I'd check and see what they want for lunch - maybe Tim Hortons, maybe salads from some local restaurant etc.

Presto 05470 Stainless Steel Electric Deep Fryer, Silver

A little 1 liter deep fryer is perfect for cooking a single serving for one.

I also deep fry single servings of bread dough.
Much more practical to deep fry bread dough than to heat a big oven to make a loaf of bread.

I'm about to make my tea now. Chilli con carne and rice

It's all out of a tin and a packet so not much cooking involved

I cooked up some chicken breast. I wanted some in a ceasar salad for lunch. The rest of that chicky will be used this evening in some fried rice. Haven't had any of that in ages. Should be alright.
