This all sounds a lot like something from Wallace and Gromit!

What are your opinions on the lottery win?

Latest headline:

"EuroMillions winners flee to Spain as the begging letters pour in asking for cut of £161m fortune"

Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... z1SJIlkFfO

My thoughts:

1. If I won the lottery, I would not tell ANYONE. Never mind begging letters - I'd be far more terrified of kidnappers, blackmailers, etc. Begging letters are the least of their worries. They said they want to carry on living a normal life in their normal house in their normal street. Well, in that case, don't announce to the world that you suddenly have £161 million, and make your location public. People who have £161 million need to live in a huge barricaded house with patrol men, guard dogs, barbed wire, surveillance systems, etc. They need to be driven in bulletproof cars, and escorted by bodyguards. Not living on a normal street in Largs.

2. No one needs that amount of money. They really don't. Hopefully they'll be giving some of it away to charity. I mean, seriously. Just a few million would set you up for life. Why keep the rest?

I'd probably be in shock until 160 million of it blew away in the wind!
