Anyone who sings a song about dirty laundry would be a terrible excuse for a human being.

I was thinking of him and the OD'd 16 year old hooker (or the 15 year old who didn't die that night).

It won't be too hard to give up my self-made German helmet. I have a lot of hats that look like helmets if worn with the front brim turned up. Why do I have this feeling that I will never change? I will have a job soon and if a coworker sees me wearing the helmet, gossip will spread at the workplace like wildfire and I could be branded as a Nazi.

What year did that happen?

In 1980 paramedics were summoned to the home of Don Henley of The Eagles, where they found two girls, aged 15 and 16 respectively; the former was arrested for being under the influence of drugs and the latter, who was naked when the authorities arrived, charged with prostitution. Henley paid a $2,500 fine and got probation.

I've heard mixed reporting about the girl who OD'd. That source said she was charged.

https://rockcelebrities.net/the-story-o ... probation/

This one says she died.

A lot of strange things happened in 1980, the assignation of John Lennon for one thing. Didn't Mount Everest also erupt that year?

My brother's really into West Coast Rock like The Doors, Tom Petty, Jackson Browne and all the Sunset Strip acts from the 1970s. He goes to all those venues and talks endlessly Aspergers-style about them. One of his stories is about Zeppelin tying young woman fans up and doing BDSM in some of the hotels after their shows. Lots of ODs and underaged groupies dropping dead.

I didn't know about Don Henley. Weird I just played him recently and I was thinking how much I loved his voice.

The same was said of one of the dudes in Vampire Weekend a couple of years ago.

It was Mount Saint Helens, but you're right about the year.

As for Everest being a volcano:

Quote:
Although Mount Everest is composed of igneous rock, it is not a volcano. The reason for this is that it was not formed from a volcanic eruption. Instead, it was formed from the collision of two tectonic plates and the pushing up of sedimentary and igneous rock. Therefore, Mount Everest is not considered to be a volcano.

It's depressing to think of how many of them were creeps because they had the chance to be.

I don't know if TV is a good thing or a bad thing. I used to be groovy before I started watching TV regularly in the January of 2016.

First it's just both my pinkies and both ring fingers.

Now all my fingers feel this discomfort...
