you go to a job where you have little to zero say in the functions and purpose of the enterprise, and where such occupation is ruled over by a single dictator, and/or a small council of dictators. They literally dictate what the workers can and cannot do.

You NEED this job in order to secure housing, food, transportation, and healthcare. Society does not provide for any of these things UNLESS you work under this set-up.

Here's where it gets fun...

since much of the working class makes JUST ENOUGH to cover those BASIC RIGHTS, the ruling class extends credit...

so you can "purchase" most everything else you "need" to survive...

purchased with your LABOR...

which keeps you trapped in this set-up. Even if you hate it. Even if you know things could be better for you. Even though you know that things SHOULD be better than this.
