Blame it on Friday the 13th... :roll: I found everything but the ipod today because I said a prayer today though. But I won't get an ipod like I used to have.

I am semi-neat...but I had to go to orientation, register for classes, get an apartment, and unpack in one day that I had not even slept the night before because I was nervous or something.

went out with mum to family friends place. the first lot spent the time going on about how muslims are taking over the suburbs and breeding too much. the second went out of her way to show my mum a lebanese tv show where there was a gay character telling a straight about his feelings for him and they both went on to talk about how the "booftas"(there is no p in arabic) are getting so accepted and feel as if they can mince down the street anywhere. but before she did that she made sure she asked my mum if it was ok to show such things in front of us the same way you'd ask if it was ok to screen a sex scene in front of kids. my mum said it was ok because we should know about such things in case it happened to us. i just sat there awkwardly & tried to look as straight as possible.
