Early morning groceries because we...need to eat. Got the looks due to the P2 + surgical mask over it, along with my glasses. They probably just thought I had SARS-CoV-2 to be honest as no one wears masks. Kinda funny that no one can hear me through it all simply because the auditory processing disorder makes me speak quietly and I have trouble speaking louder; it's alright, no one needed to really hear me.

I can see the future and I'll achieve a hike through the mountains today, as it's more therapy than recreation for me right now.

That concept and the focusing thing are understood.
Was just now thinking, "Hey, I woke up, that's a good start!" :D
May your health allow you a successful day.

I sent out ten applications for outdoor work (mostly golf courses) and scheduled five interviews in two days. Most I've done before is two interviews in one week. Will probably have a seasonal job soon.

Got myself fed … and a cup O decaf coffee . Then pursued a fraudulent charge against my health insurance .. after other insurance already paid them , and still wanted to charge me additional 300 usd . if they hadn’t come after me for a co pay . They would have got away with it. So called the insurance they were trying to get money out of .
So that insurance called me up and told me all was alright , throw away all your documents now. No 300 co-pay..
Not a word of Thanks or acknowledgement that I saved them a thousand dollars .

I would be inclined to keep those documents for a while as a "just in case" thing even though I can't define just in case of what.

I managed to get some time in on my exercise bike, as around here it's not safe to be a pedestrian.

Not fluent, but the woman is now totally used to my bad Spanish. ;-)

I worked hard all day and was still unable to place a client who will be homeless on Monday. Oh, wait. This is the “achieved” thread, not the “worked hard at and were unsuccessful” thread. :(

Ok. What I achieved: I kept at a difficult task in spite of repeated disappointments.

How’s that for reframing?

Doesn't decaf coffee and tea have loads of glue in it? Am pretty sure I read that once and it put me off entirely!

Glue can be made from casein in milk, corn starch and potato starch.
Might want to give up milk, corn, and potatoes, too.

Here's how to homebrew your own glue using those;

https://www.carlemuseum.org/education/m ... tarch-glue
https://thepaperpartybagshop.com/blogs/ ... tarch-glue

And speaking of brewing, it is more tea bags than the tea itself which is where glue is,

I achieved being awake this morning when the home care nurse came to draw blood.
Also achieved persuading Grumman kitty to appear and say hello to her.
She said he was a gorgeous cat. :D

I flashed my T61 Thinkpad with 'Middleton's Bios'. Interesting procedure, but not sure whether it'll make much difference. At least the laptop survived the experience - you can never be too sure with stuff like this.
