Indeed. I would say one of my main sensory issues is texture of food.

One of the rooms I have to clean today clearly had a sick person in it (trash can full of used tissues next to the bed and the smell of some sort of menthol rub)

I hope it's not covid and I hope I don't catch it. I opened the window to air it out and moved onto the next room for now

This sounds awful. Hopefully you will not catch anything!

Thank you, I leaving it til last so hopefully anything airborne will have cleared out by then

I'm a bit paranoid about getting sick, especially because management really discourages sick days (you need to bring a doctor's note any time you call in sick, which costs money)

I f*****g hate working for a company me. I aim to only stay anywhere for a couple of months and that way I'm in control and it's on my terms.

I like the idea of not feeling too attached to any job, but I find job hunting so stressful that I wouldn't be able to manage this

Do you ever have trouble in interviews if they ask you why you don't stay anywhere very long?

I always have trouble in interviews regardless. I just find moving from one unskilled job to another quite easy. Where I live it's all call centers and they take anyone on usually to give them a chance. You don't need much experience to sit there and read off a script.

I'm trying to get used to bifocals. The kind that actually has a line. They said I'd be able to see the line but I'd get used to it after about two weeks. Does anyone know if the line is supposed to be blurry af, and make me have double vision?

I can see above it or below it, but if my eyes go on the blurry line it's a magical mystery tour.
It's actually kind of fun because it's like having a little high, but then I feel sick from the double vision.

I have a convergence disorder with my eyes so I hope that doesn't mean bifocals were a big mistake.
I already waited two months for them to adjust them into bifocals after they were first made as single vision.

*I wore progressives before (bifocals with no line), and I felt like I could never find the right spot to look.
Now I can find the right spot but the blur in between is really obnoxious.

I was looking at images of Sid on Google today. I was thinking it would be cool to have Sid as a background on my laptop. I fell in love with my wallpaper so much, that I also decided to have it for a WP avatar. Sid's a perfect example of what a Cockney rebel is.
