How do you find your special interest(s)? (if you have one)

I figured out that space travel is a thing and like most kids I went through a phase where I wanted to learn all about it but then it didn't end. I learned about orbital mechanics when I discovered realistic space flight simulators and that peaked my interest in physics. Later I got around to researching the age old question of how computers work and I realized that I enjoy programming so now I'm a mad computer scientist in training.

When I was a little kid, me and my mom were cleaning out my closet to find the clothes that didn't fit me anymore, and mom told me that I could pick the channel it was on while we were doing that. I stumbled across the old Pokemon anime from the 90's, and I had heard of it before, and I wanted to check it out. There was a battle going on, (i actually remember what the episode was about, and now I know it was EP63S1) so I thought everybody would look at me funny if I liked a boy's TV show, so I made myself not watch it anymore because of that. I eventually forgot about it, until the third grade, I got a pink DSI for my birthday one year, and a KH 358/2 Days. I loved it. Then I got a game called Style Savvy. One day, in the third grade, I was on youtube and I found a weird Japanese cartoon, that was an adaptation of the Powerpuff Girls, whicg had the same weird eyes as style savvy. PPGZ, that was my first Magical Girl anime! I diddnt tell anybody about it though. Then, in the sixth grade, I dropped out of school, and I would get to see my now former boyfriend. He liked Pokemon, and he would let me play on his 3DS, on geuss what game? Pokemon X. When he broke up with me, I was so sad, even until that Christmas. I had asked my mom for a DS that could play Pokemon X and a few of the other games she showed me, and when I got them, I thought they were all masterpeices, I een thought the characters were real, but I diddnt know any better.

I was on youtube one day, just trying to find some bands to like, and at this time, I was obsessed with another band, but then I tried out "Deftones" and at first, I didn't really care for it, so I kind of just put it off, then a few months later, I was watching "Beavis and Butthead" and they were watching a music video of Deftones called "7 words". So I watched it, and I actually liked the song, so I looked up the song on youtube and found out there was an uncensored version (which I like more), and so I went off and looked up other songs by them, and then decided to look up their history and who the members are. So that's how I found out about my interest! Now they're my favorite band!

If you mean how did you find your special interests...

My interest in autism came from being diagnosed with it and being given books about it.

My interest in writing came from liking to write myself, and from reading Writer's Digest magazines.

My interest in Choose Your Own Adventure books started when I read a little one in a magazine when I was 8. Then my neighbour brought over some of the books for me to look at, and I thought the concept was so cool.

My interest in forums started when I was browsing the website of a magazine called The Magazine (yes, really). I browsed the main site for a while, and then discovered they had a forum. I was instantly hooked.

Not at all. As long as there are humans, there will be hostilities.

Do you like to watch fireworks?

Kind of, I haven't really payed attention to that in a long time, I used to have a fear that the fireworks would fall on me, I also didn't like the sound... Don't know if I'm okay with it now, though.

Do you find that your able to function socially?

A little bit, if I don't think it out, the words come out wrong, not only that but I have a hard time controlling the tone of my voice, which makes it worse! That's why I keep quiet a lot in public.

I can do limited conversations with colleagues/customers etc. before I start to feel lost. I am getting better at conversing with some people who know me a bit better (yay ). If I am in a position of power in the conversation then I am absolutely fine; for example if I am having a critical thinking debate, or a conversation about a special interest, then executive function ceases to cause me any problems.

Have you ever been in a glass-bottomed boat?

I don't think so, but in 6th grade, I went on a boat trip, so maybe they had a glass-bottomed boat!

Least favorite genre of music?

Anything too smooth (and self-aware of its smoothness). Michael Bublé's music makes me very angry, very quickly .
