Woke up before 9AM on a Sunday. (For reference, I get up at 4.30AM on weekdays, and always suffer horrendous self-inflicted "weekend jetlag.")

i am very curious what was the thing that pointed you in the professional direction of the people helping/social service business?

Just chance. It was the only job I could get that allowed me flexible work schedule and independence.

Jakki, I’m glad you’re feeling better.

Thank you Blazingstar , and a Happy Easter to you . Or your denominational holiday of preference of this season .

Got my holiday prayers in … THen indulged myself in a Egg Mc egg burger , and a cup of tea . Sprinkled a little liquid flower fertilizer on my four freshly transplanted lillies . And it is alittle rainy today, so hope they will make a easy transition . Maybe that guide to planting just before a full moon , is good advise.

Am so sorry Isabella Linton, that you went through that .
Managing to contain spinal cord pain … from some over exertion, from yesterday .

This is for yesterday, when I didn't have a chance to post...but I am so proud of myself...

I got a button sewed on a shirt. This is a cotton man's shirt, long sleeved, for protecting my skin from the sun when canoeing. I have had that cuff safety pinned for years and years.

I also got the homeowners insurance paid. Yay! With a credit card, but it is paid. :-)

I walked to the shop and back. No limping. Just walking normal. I have to concentrate on every step and I can't do curbs yet and I lose my rhythm when the gradient changes but as long as I'm walking on flat, even ground I can do it. I've not been able to walk properly for 12 months so it was a bit of a triumph for me.

that was the intent, to borrow off of "a day in the life."
