Instead of asking the opinions of others here, I have a wild and crazy idea. Why don't I do what's right for me? Why don't I make peace with my outdated soldierly ways and my German spirited ways and emotions and stick with my default avatar? I keep going back to it. I will never curse myself for falling in love with TV again. I will concentrate on the here and now and not 2013.

I've got to go to the dollar store at 9. I don't like walking there alone. What if someone tries to make a move on me? What if there's lots of people? What if I get so scared that I have an accident?

Also, I'm not that old. 49 Is not old. I'm just not Woke. I don't want to be Woke. I'd have to be Pro-Choice to be woke. I don't believe in that.

Aren't hippies what people would call Woke these days?

It's been in the back of my mind for years and years... It is to do with the things I see every day and easily ignored.

It's just that...
I don't know where to start.

So many choices to go from here to there. It can be as small and simple -- A ripple or two, sure.

But I'm a prideful person.
I want something else.
