holy crap that's ginormous! It's not an actual flute though is it? Is it considered a flute? The mouthpiece looks more like that of of a bagpipe...

the french call the recorder [the model above is in contrabass register] a "flûte à bec" which i guess translates roughy as fippleflute. there is a whole family of recorders from the garklein sopranino down to the subcontrabass models which play down low like organ pedals.

metal transverse flutes are the same way, from piccolo all the way down to hyperbass flutes which play lower than pipe organs.

below, is a demo of a hogenhuis subcontrabass flute-

Local unpopular opinion: Finnish folk music played with accordion is not music. It's a pain in the ass.

Don't play this video! :eew:

The world would be better off without any kind of organised religion. I mean, they were only created because people in the old days didn;t know what caused everything to be how it was, but nowadays, with discoveries and science and stuff, I don't see how they could still exist, or at least the main stories that people believe in.

Yes it's true that religion can teach people to be better people in life, but some are against certain things, and there is more than one way to teach people to be good people.

Maybe religion will die out in the future, or at least will turn onto some system that teaches people about the real world and how to be better people and respect other people's life choices.

Most tattoos are going to be seriously regretted in a few years.

Most piercings are going to be even more regretted.

Rap and country are the worst music genres.

How can anyone not appreciate the deep meaningfulness of 'Red Solo Cup' or 'Truck, Yeah', or 'A Boy Named Sue' or 'Do You Want Fries With That?'

Simply Shocking!

I agree about tattoos.

I actually never appreciated tattoos. I add further that tattoos somehow make people look rather trashy. Or maybe many trashy people seem to like tattoos.

The scar from the hole remains forever. Gigantic holes from stretched ears may never recover.

Unpopular opinion:

The purpose of religion is not to make us better people. Pagans and atheists can be good if they want to, you don't need any religion for that. The only religion that has anything truthful to say about man's destiny after death is Christianity. Otherwise Judaism would qualify but it is surprisingly silent about the afterworld. Christianity, being a continuation of Judaism, remedies the situation. And the purpose of Christianity is to lead us home.

I don't care a shít what other posters in this thread think about my unpopular opinion.
