Keep working at my job and strengthen my ties with my family.

What is the best thing that's ever happened to you?

I made a serious suicide attempt back in 1992. Now, looking back, the best thing that's happened to me is having people in the motel I was living in call 911 on my behalf.

The movie you'd just rented from RedBox was supposed to be "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Your DVD, however, is the original Alfred Hitchcock version from 1941.

Did it come in the wrong case? If so, I would contact the store and inform them of the mistake. And I might watch the movie. I know nothing about it, but it might be just as good as or better than the one I wanted.

Same question.

I'd watch the old film. They're usually strong in plot content anyway.

You're a travel nurse on a medical helicopter out in the Alaskan wilderness, transporting a sick 450 lb man to a hospital. The helicopter suddenly develops severe engine trouble and is low on gas. The pilot whispers to you, "If we don't lighten our load by at least 400 lbs, we'll all die in a crash."

I would first throw out items to see if that fixes the load, if all else doesn't work, then there may be no choice but to throw out the man, it would be horrible to do, but what else would there be to do?

OR, I could lower the plane to safety and call for backup!

Have you ever gotten so stressed that you wanted to just shut down or fall asleep?

I've been like that for the past three months, but thankfully now I can change things for the better.

Yes, there have been times I felt like such.

Do you enjoy various seasons and the weather of each of them?

I love all the seasons except for winter, but I even enjoy a few aspects of that too.

Did you go/are you planning on going to your high school prom?

No, I was never much fond of the social conventions during my primary school time period.

Do you sometimes find difficulty going to sleep or waking up?

Yes, for example the night before last I couldn't fall asleep at all.

Same question.

I walk a lot during the day, then drink beer at night. That makes falling asleep easy. Staying asleep is a different matter, though. Without the alcohol, I average 2 hours of sleep. With the beer I can almost guarantee 4 to 6 hours or so. Waking up is easy as I'm a light sleep. Plus, I sleep in a car right on the side of the road. The noise of traffic alone wakes me up.

The paper bag you just found on the back of the bus has $200 in it.

I would ask if it belonged to anyone on the bus. Then I would tell my parents about it and see if they could help me find the owner.

Same question.

I'd try to find who it belonged to possibly redrobin62, hehe.

Do you think there are some things which are of a slower nature within your sovereign nation?

Yes. In America, punishment for crimes drags on at a snail's pace. For instance, people are finally being executed today for heinous crimes committed 20 years before. Legislation also works at a snail's pace here. There is one notorious stretch of road off I-90 that has seen several deadly accidents over the years. Many petitions have been created for a traffic signal to be erected there, but because of bureaucracy and miles of red tape, it'll probably be years before a traffic light goes up.

Same question.

I've seen a great deal of slowed progress due to medieval thought processes within certain areas of governance of Genosha. So, your not alone redrobin62.

If you had the capacity to go back in time to only alter your personal past and nothing else would you choose to do so?
