What are your thoughts on nudity and how uncomfortable many societies are with nudity?

Well, since this thread is not part of the Adult section of wrongplanet, I'll simply that as long as no rules are being broken, it is okay with me, an example would private nude beach, but nudity in public I tend to be mixed on that even though in Amsterdam you can see nude women behind windows as part of the red light district. It's a controversial subject which can stir a great deal of emotions whereby, I feel a tad bit uncomfortable speaking about it so, I don't get seen as some perverted weirdo or so forth.
I'll close my response with saying were born nude but, we have to wear clothes for reasons of warmth or coolness.
