I bought a Lenovo Thinkpad T430, with i5 processor, for £40 from a second-hand shop.
Couldn't test it, as the battery was dead and it came without a charger. Got it home, charged it up and found the battery lasts for about 25 minutes. The processor temperature runs at 80-100 degrees Celsius most of the time, which is far too hot. The casing is cracked in two places on the underside, something I should have spottted in the shop if I hadn't been so besotted with the idea of getting such a ridiculous 'bargain'. Finally it has an unlicensed version of Windows 10, despite the sticker on the machine saying Windows 7.
I'll be taking it back to the shop on Monday and asking for a refund. Hope they don't try to play silly beggars...
