How do people make friends and approach strangers? I don't have many irl friends anymore and especially post-covid I have completely lost my social life as the past four years consisted of me mostly being isolated from the world, mostly against my will. The whole "positive thinking" as well as any of this "spirituality" whitewashed faux Hinduism/Buddhism nonsense isn't for me, I tried and sacrificed so much by (over)sharing my dreams and issues when I didn't want to and it felt super humiliating putting myself out there in ways that I didn't want to. I'm feeling so stuck in life, every attempt I make to fiz things hasn't been a success. Trying to go to events and places to meet new people has been underwhelming. I intentionally refuse to use my "online extrovert" skills because I don't want to be dependent on technology and exclusively make friends that way. None of my close irl friends are people I met online.

Doing my best not to hang in this "victim" state, it's been difficult because there's such an overwhelmingly amount of freedom in things I could be doing except financially which has been a major issue because I hate money, capitalism and working. Nothing that makes money makes me happy and nothing that makes me happy makes money.

I'm heck sure spirituality isn't all about the wholesome, optimism and positive beliefs. It is equal in pleasure and pain, in contrasts and paradoxes.

Otherwise, that's just all about bypassing crap; and bypassing crap is not advised.

Day 13 or so since I took BC;
I'm more aware of certain things in my body now.

Maybe I lost an unwanted layer that made me forget certain things or losing the inability to put two and two together in whatever happens in me.

This includes acknowledging my chronic crashing into exhaustion.
The inability to leave or cut loose and rest due to whatever type of exhaustion...

Also...
I might experience sleep as something more pleasant than painful because of it.

I bet that Suzanne Wright and Adolf Hitler are having a great time sharing a Bloody Mary in Hell.

My grandparents, who were Catholic, were quite religious and when my mom was a kid they had to go to church on Good Friday and just sit there literally for hours. They also had to give up things for Lent, and couldn't eat meat except for fish on Fridays. Since my grandfather was a fisherman getting fish usually wasn't a problem and didn't cost them anything. But they weren't supposed to fry it on Good Friday for some reason. I think maybe because it might make the fish taste better and you're not supposed to do anything you enjoy on Good Friday because you're disrespecting the day Jesus died for our sins, or something. They had to go to church on Easter Sunday, too.

My parents never did that kind of stuff with my brother and me, and other than my grandfather saying Grace before we ate together on holidays I didn't think they were all that religious until know.

Waiting for a reply from any mod here on Wrong Planet after I noticed an
Anti-Semitic post here on Wrong Planet. I've already reported it.

I bet that all the historical anti-Semites are having a wonderful time
in Hell watching many Jewish people being treated awfully just because Hamas caught Israel off-guard.

I think it's more conductive for me to write stuff outside...

Oh, if only the weather isn't a hazard.
If only night life's activity is way less seedier...

It's, like...
I want something new.

And whatever I have in home is...
Eh, you know the feeling that you'd rather change your posture after sitting for a while? Kinda like that.
