Forever is actually a pretty cool fellow, and shouldn't apply "boot on cockroach" metaphors to himself.

Special K squared is a pretty good judge Forever.

... and pretty good turner of a phrase.

Mine below - or above depending on your settings was supposed to be taken as a positive hope.

You know I am not.

You are head, shoulders, hell, towers above me.

I am a drunken fool who procrastinates as a means communicating with others. I am the only one whom can change this, and yet I continue to be a self-defeating pessimist that offers no benefit to the lives of others, who wakes up the next day feeling sorry for myself because I spoke without inhibition & cannot otherwise produce useful perspective.

I enjoy reading League_Girl's experiences with autism.

b9's posts are interesting and often witty.

drlaugh: You're welcome!

Twilightprincess is a promising new member and has a cool username.

TheForeverMan is completely wrong about himself. He's actually a good person and a great friend.

When I am not sober.

Otherwise I am a prudish, inhibited, quiet loser that attracts the attention of nothing.

Thanks, TheAP! I don't feel new though. I've been following this site closely for at least two years without posting...until yesterday.

All youse guys are great!

Dr. Laugh. is a great phrase-spinner (more deft than a phrase-turner).

LeagueGirl is very exact/precise with her memories, and thus offers great insights. She's very common-sensical, too. And honest.

AP has a very high sense of morals, and is not afraid to speak her mind.

Kazan is a man of prodigious compliments (and talents).

Twilight is a gentle soul, and very considerate of others' feelings. And very patient, too! I would never be able to browse around a forum for years without making some comment; I'm not modest enough hee hee.

Forever is somebody who is acquiring insight, and is a pretty decent dude to boot (no pun intended!) Through his experiences, he can become a great therapist.

A great therapist? Only if it were to "cure" people of conformity to expectations of their peers.

I lack the ability to convey my thoughts to others in a way that the would take it on board. I am cryptic & only accomplish a sense of fear in those I manifest my ideology to.
It only further concretes my belief that I am "TOO" socially evolved for my NT peers.

You can work on that stuff, Forever.

In my day, I was pretty "cryptic," too. On my bad days, I can still have trouble communicating. Especially in person.

Sometimes, people have to superficially "conform." People have to get the know "the system" before they can properly rebel against the "system." In order to "get to know it," you have to be crafty and clever. You have to give the impression that you follow the majority.

I don't find that somebody is "selling out" if they superficially conform at times, while keeping the spirit of rebellion in their minds.

Ever heard the expression "no man is an island?" (Of course, this applies to all humanity, even though the expression itself, obviously, is sexist).

Thanks to those that have learn to finesse not bow down to the system.

I was reading a book titled How to Schmooze. My brother looked at it and said - read it? You could have written it.

You are all appreciated by
