how wise you are, raleigh.

Getting to work and home again safely with all the crazy traffic in my town

to have gained what wisdom I have been able to obtain, so far.

I'm grateful for being able to write such wonderful stories. I'm also grateful for my family, friends, WP friends, and the holiday season! Oh, and kitties, too, of course. Mew.

It might sound a bit odd but I'm kinda grateful to have been fired from my job.

Because for the first time in about twelve months I feel like my brain can breathe.

I've just been working and working and working and all the time I knew it was completely the wrong environment for me but I had to put that to the back of my mind because at least I had a job.

It was only having two weeks break from the job that made me see how f****d I was and it was the working environment that had made me that way.

I was fired more or less after I went back after my break and although I have a lot of uncertainty surrounding my finances, I know that my mental health has improved because now I can finally address what I have been put though and move on from it.

It's a long list, but I have a huge family and support group, as I call the others that aren't technically family.

In no particular order...

My wife, who for reasons best known to herself still hasn't left me.

Every cat I've ever known.

My job, which has been both the most difficult and the most interesting thing I've ever done.

This site, which I keep telling myself I'm done with and yet here I am.

My ability to laugh at myself, because I'd have been screwed without it.

The black dog, who showed me that nothing's worth giving a damn about.

My grandparents, who did give a damn (just in weird ways).

that there are still good spiritual beings in this world, it hasn't been completely taken over by the dark ones just yet.

Our newest cat (Born in our back yard last January) has been jumping up in my lap.
She has been a mommas (my wife) girl, since we brought her inside, in July.

I thank God for things like waves, sounds of the ocean, wind, rain, thunder (at times) and for something random... cat kisses.

i am very grateful that there have been no spam attacks here since i made my untriumphant return.

i've probably just jinxed it, but whatevs.
