All it took was this song and Mary's British Home to get me to this level.

This is just an observation , and I could be totally wrong but I get the feeling you seem conflicted about what country you like more ( Germany or Britain ) and think it has some relevance to UK members.
Just in case it helps , it makes no difference to me if you love Germany more , I am not offended and I doubt any other UK members would be.

Oh, that reminds me.

I don't mind a bit of Morrisons now and again.

In face I might do an online shop next week as the same old Asda is getting boring.

Always used to shop in Morrisons but fell out with them a few years ago and haven't been back since! Always go in Sainsburys now because they have a lot of things labelled as vegan (even if their prices are too high).

I have changed my mind about an online shop with Morrisons.

They withhold a lot of their more economical products forcing people to buy more expensive alternatives.

They also have a higher minimum shop than most other supermarkets.

Back to good old Asda then. I have no complaints with them. :)

Who had fun in the hail yesterday? It would have been ok if not for the wind which kept making it swirl around mostly into my face. It was very pretty though. Now we have snow and I don't have to leave the house till mid Monday :D . Anyone working today?

Trogluddite hasn't posted on WP since the 4th Feb. He seems to have stopped very abruptly.

No hail here but plenty of snow and freezing blustery winds.
I have to go out every morning but I was wrapped up and booted.

My consolation is a roast lamb dinner today - thanks to asda having lamb on offer.

Where has everyone gone to?

Is this just a natural lull or is this thread dying out?

There were quite a few different posters on here to start off?

What would make this thread a more welcoming place to post?
