I’m envious!


1. I am on the J Train

2. I’m going through Brooklyn to get to Queens

3. I am traveling mostly underground.

Based on my scant knowledge of NYC, I know that you'd have to cross Brooklyn to reach Queens from Manhattan. (I think I know that?) I also believe you must be underground quite a bit because of the East River. I don't think you are "mostly" underground, though.

I'll pick 3.

I mean 3!

1. I used to build snow forts with my brother and pour water on top so they'd freeze overnight.

2. One of our snow forts had shag rug inside.

3. We liked to play Checkers in the forts.

You’re right! I only travel underground for three stops on the J Train; whereas my entire trip is underground when I take the Q into the F.

I don’t go to Brooklyn at all when I take the Q into the F.

I travel over the East River on the J, over the Williamsburg Bridge.

No shag rugs for Isabella....

So the Q into F must go the more northerly route across? (I don't know the place names)

Oh yes, we had some old shag rug in our snow fort. It was just a small square that we sat on.

I've never played Checkers in my life, so 3 is my lie.
We were more apt to listen to a transistor radio than play games.

It goes north, then east, then south.

When I went to NYC I enjoyed the following:

1. A taping of Saturday Night Live

2. A Simon & Garfunkel concert in Central Park

3. A job with Jim Henson writing for Grover

lol no. I wish!

I've been to VT, ME, PA, MA, Baltimore MD, NJ and NY State and all down the east coast to Miami, but never to NYC.

It's on my bucket list.

That list was my dream things to do.
