Perhaps I like to be famous a little bit.... I mean, known within a relative small group. Not Kurt Cobain like famous or something where I cannot handle all the attention and people bothering me for stupid reasons. The whole concept of groupies, followers and paparazzi is in a way the opposite of what I am (or like).

Which famous (?) person you admire a lot? (alive or no longer amongst us) (why?)

Maya Angelou. She has such grace and wisdom. Every time I hear her speak, she seems really centred and peaceful. I find that intriguing.

If you could bring back an animal that is extinct, which one would it be?

Dodo. Then, no one can ever say dead-as-a-dodo or phrases similar.

Is there a cliché which you dislike particularly? What is it?

When sportsman/woman when interviewed say: 'we gave it our best"," we taking it one game at a time" etc, etc, etc.

Do you own a gun? And what are your thoughts regarding guns?

I don't own a gun and I don't allow them in the house as I have small children. I've used guns before for target practice and that was fun. I don't want them in my house though. I'm also big on having them properly stored. I guess it goes back to the parental aspect.

If there was a law that you could change, what would it be?

Over here in SA, I would make the possession of guns illegal. Crime is just too high and violent.

Describe the most incredible natural sight/spectacle you have seen. (eg. Auroras Borealis etc)

Yes, I do. Too many to sum them all but I'm quite proud of the Fig tree that's in the garden. Also my Blue Prune is nice. Every year the Fig gives hundreds of fruits and last year the prune did nothing. Not a single one. (?) Today at work I have been given my own piece of land and I have, for now, three plants I wish to grow there. Humulus (hop) for sleeping problems, St. Johns wort against mild depression and the other I don't know what it's called. There will be more of course but tomorrow I start and I aim for plants that could help those with psychological troubles.... a little bit, I hope.

Do you have a tree, (of all trees) where you are particularly fond of?

I only have 5 trees (the rest are shrubs). 4 cedars in the backyard and a huge maple tree in the front yard. I love the maple tree the best because my son loves to climb it.

How many languages do you speak? List please :)

I only speak English, I'm afraid. I have a decent ability to read French and I can sometimes interpret what a sentence in Latin means.

I wouldn't have anwered this question, because of my poor list, but I made a cross-post trying to answer Erminea's. So, to get a more interesting anwer, same question again.

I repeat the tree question (our cherrytree and an Amelanchier are my favourites http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serviceberry )

Maybe this time you are lucky to tell about your trees McTell?

When I was six years old I planted an apple seed from an apple I had eaten (a Golden Delicious apple if I recall rightly) in a yoghurt pot (I'd also eaten the yoghurt, it was vanilla flavour). My mum told me that the seed wouldn't grow into a tree, but it did, and now it lives at the bottom of my garden. Last year it produced a flower for the first time.

Too hard to say. Top three... litchis, watermelon, avocado.

What do you usually eat for breakfast?

I can't eat when I just woke up, so I eat between lunch and breakfast usually, a sandwich or two, like these
