I was thinking about this just the other day. I don’t think they do as much as they used to. Normal people upload awesome music on YouTube sometimes, so that might’ve taken some of the mystique out of being a famous pop star.

I just saw an old clip of the Beatles and the women were hysterical. I can't ever remember feeling like that about a pop or rock star or anyone famous.

I think there's still pop stars people go nuts for but rock stars are dead.

In the 19th century, there was Lisztomania which was similar to Beatlemania.

I never went crazy over celebrities although I was certainly a fan of certain singers/artists when I was younger. Now I just see celebrities as normal people…for the most part.

Why lists do not work?

-Because of memory issues of knowing there was a list.
-Because checking the list is currently set and counted as a task switch.
-Because of some form of laziness or overconfidence that involves overestimating one's own memory so one doesn't need a list.

They forget, but they do have remarkably good memories.

Me too. They might be my favorite animal apart from people. Well, it depends on the day.
