I dreamt I was shopping in some little run down 2nd-hand store with my late parents, as they were in middle age, I noted the floor had a brand-new-appearing thick royal blue pile carpet, which stood out against the careworn racks sitting atop it. then we wandered into another area that was empty except for a mostly stripped Christmas tree in the corner in front of a sunlit partially translucent sliding door. the carpeting in this section was even thicker than the rest of the store and it was a royal red color, and my feet sank into it almost like sand at a beach. then suddenly my mom and dad disappeared, and some lady followed me as I left that area of the store and headed to the front of the store to look for them at the check-out, when I saw at a distance across the parking lot outside, they got into a white Mercedes Benz sedan, pulled out and drove off without me. then I awoke.

I had a dream about Star Trek-like aliens and then all of a sudden a whole bunch of planets [especially Jupiter and Saturn] were right in my face!

Jupiter
To see Jupiter in your dream symbolizes creativity, energy, success, optimism, generosity, pleasure and extravagance. The dream may indicate your need to exhibit some of these qualities in your waking life. Alternatively, seeing Jupiter in your dream indicates your need to expand your knowledge and explore your limits.
Saturn
To see Saturn in your dream represents discipline, constraints, and limitations. It is a reflection of your conservative attitude. Alternatively, the dream refers to the cycles of life and how it brings about destruction and rebirth.

Ya, actually, I kind of am. And I haven't been feeling like myself much lately either. :(

A couple of nights ago, I dreamed that I was at an ice cream place that for some reason had green beans as one of the ice cream toppings.

^^^^Beans
To see or eat beans in your dream signify your connection to your roots and to humanity. Consider what binds you to your community. Alternatively, beans are symbolic of the soul and of immortality. They also relate to fertility.
Ice Cream
To see or eat ice cream in your dream denotes good luck, pleasure, success in love and satisfaction with your life. You need to savor the moment and enjoy it. Alternatively, the dream may suggest that you need to cool off and not let your temper get out of hand. On the other hand, the ice cream may be a pun on "I scream". Perhaps there is something that you need to let out.

Really? Then I must be under some weird dramatic stresses to dream that I woke up, alone, nude on an isolated beach.

I really must write down this dream in full before I completely forget it.

it is where you are aware in the dream that you are dreaming, and are in full conscious control of the events of the dream.

Oh, ya it was like that. I was in control. And it was quite a long dream as well.

ok :wtg: that is a real accomplishment, I've been trying without success for decades to do likewise. anyways, since you are aware you are dreaming INSIDE the dream, what you can do, is ask the dream, "why am I naked? I demand an answer NOW!" "what is the purpose of this dream?" [ask that also]. autosuggest to yourself that you will remember to ask these questions as soon as you find yourself in this dream again, tell yourself you will find the answers on 2 sheets of paper taped to both arms in the dream, and that you won't be able to remove the sheets of paper until you ask those questions.
