Posts sometimes get deleted that are associated with an argument of some sorts.

For example, person A says something that breaks the rules and you might be person B who replies to them and your post is fine, but both posts are deleted to delete the line of conversation.

It has happened to me often, but I don't question it to the mods because I assume there is a reason for it happening.

I hate editing my posts me

I always like to get it how I want it on the first go and when I have to edit it I literally feel like a failure

Yeah, I'm not a fan of editing either. Though for me it is sometimes necessary.

To be fair though you make long posts sometimes

My posts are usually no more than a couple of sentences so I should get it right the first time

I've already started. I've got a Charlie Bigham's in the oven (because i was feeling posh and lazy) and some rice fluffing up in my Instant Pot.
