What's worse:

Finally having all the time in the world to do your favourite thing like reading books because the rest of civilisation has been annihilated but only to have your only pair of glasses fall and shatter on the ground.

or

Being the best yarnspinner in the world, getting abducted by aliens only to come back and have no one believe you because you are the biggest bs-spinner in the world?

First one is definitely worse. In the second case you can always shrug and write fiction.

Having all your hair fall out, or suddenly growing hair in places where hair ought not to grow?

That has always been my favorite Twilight Zone episode.

Growing hair in places I shouldn't they have treatments for that.

Yay! You chose correctly! (not to say Star Wars isn't good, but Trek is better)

Wouldn't 'comfort food' include candy?

In which case I'd choose 'comfort food' more of a diverse selection...

Speaking only using "big words" (ie: verbosity, extensive, diametric, big), or speaking only in the "AOL Way" (ie: I h8 u, u r not good..or something like that...)??

Big words.

And comfort food, to me, is more like bland carbs- mashed potatoes, pasta, more mashed potatoes, etc.

Having your most revealing love letters published in People of having your honeymoon night broadcast on closed-circuit TV?

Being a rock and roll reporter for Rolling Stone circa 1968-1974?

Anime, but only because I whip through mangas so fast and they're so expensive.

living in a world where the dominant milleau for social interaction was not the bar scene, but rather intense games of didge ball, or where humans sniffed each other like dogs?
