I almost picked 2 for you!

Mine is actually 4.
The knitting is in front of me along with the papers and my stimmy, but I only have one book here. I'm reading two others but they're in two different rooms.

1) I have two laundry baskets' full of stuffies.

2) I only have a couple dolls, including one named Baby Kura, despite looking nothing like me.

3) When I was little, I liked taking the dolls' clothes off and leaving them naked.

2 for Kura

1. I named all my dolls Amy so I wouldn't forget their names (and it was my favourite name).

2. I had a fascination with washing my dolls' clothes in our yellow sink.

3. I played with my dolls in my play fort and liked to pretend they were twins / triplets etc.

3. I destroyed all but one of the Amys in adolescence so my friend wouldn't tease me for having dolls.

one lie

It's 1). I have one laundry basket and one collapsible net thing, both full of stuffies.

Hmm...that's a tricky one...

Hopefully 4?

(Who is your favourite stuffy?)

My lie is 3. I seldom played with my Amys. I had a play fort but they weren't in it. I liked to swaddle them and put them to sleep in their cribs (my dad hand-built wooden cribs), and then I'd just ignore them. I didn't know what else to do with them. They were more of a collection than a toy. I was also afraid of twins and triplets.

I did love washing their little clothes collection in our yellow sink, though.

Sadly I destroyed all but one of the Amys with permanent marker, curse words and scissors to be cool. My friend never even saw the destruction so it was a waste. I'm most upset that I destroyed my vintage Raggedy Ann doll from 1975.

There's special stuffies that get to sit on my headboard, so those are among my favourites. :P

1) I have a blue belt in Karate and a green belt in Kabudo [weapons].

2) I have a bo, a set of nunchuku, a pair of tonfa, and a pair of blunted kama.

3) Advancement tests were my favourite part.

Yep. I'm not so good at this.

1) I managed to read all of In Cold Blood in Grade 11 English.

2) I am always torn between liking Jane Eyre and not liking it.

3) Reading Wide Sargasso Sea made me feel sick.

See, I told you I'm obvious.

Yes, it's 1).

The ending of Jane Eyre made me want to hurl, if that helps you to decide.
I won't read Sargasso. Or, should I?

I think your lie is 3.

It's 1). I didn't read any of In Cold Blood. I just couldn't.

I wouldn't recommend Wide Sargasso Sea, either.

You should read Villette. It's sublime and much deeper than Jane Eyre, with an exponentially more satisfying conclusion. The protagonist Lucy is dark, very guarded, often unreliable, and demonstrates an autistic personality. It's often considered to have been Charlotte's best work. It's my favourite novel of all time, tied with WH.

I don't read any of the Brontë fan-fiction stuff. I don't want to muddle my thoughts with the true plots.

To mix things up, I'm going to do a random edition--two random truths and one random lie about me. :P

1) Shiva is one of my favourite deities.

2) I don't like wearing kilts or skirts.

3) I have a little sculpture made of clay called Bob.
