I'm really getting into the music of Amon Tobin, particularly ISAM.

I've finally got half my wrapping done for Christmas, still need to get some cards and wrap a few more things though. Spent all last night just wrapping and packing for when I go to Stoke for the holidays.

Is it true that at wine tastings, you have to take a swig of the wine and then spit it out?

I tested out another way to use the sling today. The common method of spinning it around a few times next to you and then ramp up the speed on the last spin and releasing the cord at the required height. I think it was the more common form for Romans and such back then.

I noticed that it required a lot less muscle power to achieve a similar velocity as the overhand cast I've been doing. Though the accuracy appears to be quite a bit worst, meaning you'd need to practice more. Plus, having the pouch with a potentially lethal stone/bullet spinning around near your head is a little disconcerting.

I'll take the overhand casting method, as you need not spin it at all, plus it's far more accurate (the vertical plane is quite stable, so you don't need to focus much on deflection, just the release height). Seems to rely more on physical force as its negative, but that's no bother.

NEWS: 8 arrested over capsized Indonesian migrant boat (AFP)

if 8 people were arrested on a capsized indonesian boat, then they would have to have been arrested while standing on the slippery hull of the boat, and i guess that is why only 8 people were arrested.

those who could not dance like fred astaire on the slippery hull would have drowned before they could be arrested.

ok goodnight absolutely now.
no more posts from me tonight.

Yes, really. Like, really really. I should really try to stop saying really so much. It's getting really annoying. I really wish there were other words for really.

It wouldn't surprise me if my [hoarder] Mum has kept them. I've sent you a virtual slice of B'Day cake OSB - it is the chocolate indulgence variety and zero calories.

My dog is so adorable, she was rocking side to side like I do sometimes. She imitates me a lot, that's how I taught her to touch her nose and sneeze on command lol.
