Another disturbed night of sleep. Also for the past few nights I have been having nightmares. I thought maybe it was because I have been eating some cheese at tea time so yesterday decided not to, but still had an unpleasant one.

The snow/ice and cold weather made my cough and cold come back.

not getting a solid sleep due to cat jumpling all over me and patting my face to "ask" me to get up and feed him and let him out. also having to drive - ugh - in busy morning traffic while very tired.

The email notifications do not seem to be working and I am struggling to teach myself to think in words.

I caught myself rocking in a painful way. Fortunately, no one will know.

I wonder if increasing the circulation around a potential shin bruise will help.

friend pressuring me to go to queer prom for mardi gras. i miss my highschool friends. they'd just get not wanting to go instead of whinging at me. i also realised that i gave centrelink the wrong postal address. tomorrow i will need to spend 1/2 an hour on the phone rectifying this problem. most of it will be on hold.

Having a bad night's sleep due to my cell phone ringing (I keep it on in case my mom wants/needs to call me while she's at work). People keep calling the wrong numbers...

Technically yesterday made me unhappy. My flu shot made me sick, and I slept from 12 in the afternoon until three in the morning.
I feel better, though, which is nice.

They're actually not supposed to make you sick, I keep hearing these stories, my grandma almost died because of them.

I wonder if they're actually really effective... I personally hadn't had one in 10 years, I'm not planning to either and still feel perfectly fine... or maybe it's just me?

I've never had a flu shot and neither did my mother but my grandmother skipped her flu shot one year because she was sick and later got really sick with the flu that winter. I don't think she ever really fully recovered from that and it was the beginning of her decline. Before that I remember her going out more and even taking the bus by herself.
