I bought a cheap battery trainset for £2.99 (Or was it £1.99?) It wasn't the last thing I bought as that would be diesel or some food item I think.
I have not tried the set, but I had one when I was little. They are impressive actually. The limits to them were that there were no spare track... BUT... I know how to make my own track so that's not a problem. I only bought it because it was cheap and I have seen how another person made a lovely little layout with one. I was thinking.. What a lovely idea for a competition in one of the model railway forums I'm on!

An old Netgear wifi router from Ebay, for £0.99. Hoping it will make it possible to get internet reception on one or two of my more ancient laptops, which don't like modern wifi security mechanisms.

Also a 'Q Magazine' Bob Marley special edition, which has the last interview with the singer from July 1980.

My Mum paid for them for me. A bag of peanuts.
This packet of peanuts is funny. It says "ALLERGY ADVICE. Packaged on equipment used in the process of nut products". They must be nuts to put that on a pack of nuts!
