there is a thread that asks me to count from one to a million.

every one posts just one number, and i wonder why. they are just writing the next number up from the one posted before their post.

i decided to write a simple program that wrote every number from 1 to 1 million (with separating commas), and ctrl-copied the resulting text file and tried to post it in that thread, but of course the post was too large to be accepted by this site.

here is the simple program (in vfp)

for x = 1 to 1000000
pl=pl+allt(str(x))+','
if len(pl)>128
=fputs (fhand,pl)
pl=''

close all
----------

i opened the text file and got rid of the last comma.

the text file was in this format....

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43,44,45,
46,47,48,49,50,51,52,53,54,55,56,57,58,59,60,61,62,63,64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82,83,84,85,86,

As for moi, I finally got my new furniture through and a re-decorated living room. (Well, my parents did, but I'm included of course). I really like how it all looks and all the chairs and sofa recline and are really big and padded and one of the chairs even rocks!! :D

I got some kind of settlement check in the mail for $18.04. It was something to do with foreign currency. I was charged a foreign transaction fee a few times on Chase credit-card when I bought things from overseas so I'm guessing there may of been some kind of class action suit related to those types of fees :? I'm happy I got an unexpected check for $18 :D

I got a message from a cute guy on the aspie affection site :chin:

I went out to a park that I wanted to in the city that was gorgeous :P

I saw an amazing bird that was different from all the rest, and had a personality. It was an amazing creature :colors:

I am working on getting back to school :bounce:

I am getting back in the swing of my running habits :D

Mr Bonkers the cat caught a bird in the attic an hour ago and went, well, bonkers. He made some spectacular 9 foot strafing leaps trying to catch it and since then he's been playing cat and mouse. Um... Cat and bird. When it could no longer fly, he started picking it up and throwing it, then leaping through the air to catch it. I just caught him trying to stuff it in my shoe, was incapacitated with laughter for awhile. I think it might be time to take the toy away and shower him with treats.
