Sounds like a great idea! I'll put down a bit more money if it's really needed....but since the recent economic crisis the house prices plummeted so it should be affordable. We should keep some money so we could hire a gardener.

It seems like it's in the middle of nowhere jk1 but I could drive you to the train station and supermarket if you want. :D

Or to save money you could all take turns at being gardener for a week - or one of the co-residents can be the gardener in lieu of paying his/her share of the house...

Andras has already volunteered to be the chauffeur. A stately British car would fit in nicely...Bentley maybe?

Not sure I want to move back to the UK though, too many rules, too many people, and too expensive.

I thought the UK is cheaper now, isn't it?
