Got the mental health team coming tomorrow. Hopefully I can tell then I'm doing better these days apart from my excessive consumption of gin and diet tonic.. OK physically, eating OK, fine financially. Mostly sleeping OK. Nothing to be depressed about really.

Yeah it's good when you can tell them about positives that are happening in your life. You're doing really well mate. I'm proud of you

Hah, that brings back memories of slightly naughty CB usage - I got into trouble with a neighbor because of the interference caused!

But that was analog TV, and prone to it - so how is it with interference on TVs now it's all digital?
Tempting... that George II kit looks very nice. :chin:

I know. I've looked into getting a cb a few times because I can remember using my sister's when I was a kid

It seemed like everyone had one in the 80s. It was like the world wide web

It would be quite a novelty, actually talking to someone here.
My handle was Cyclops - I have no idea why... probably specs-related.

Well I was only about 8 years old when I last used one and my handle was Boo Boo... because my older sister was Yogi Bear

I think I'd go for something different these days although Boo Boo isn't too bad really

Currently confused about the guy that ended up in the FB friendlist.

It's either someone from my old online life and any trace of his mutual friends are gone except me somehow...
... Or it's an accident.
... Or it's a glitch.

Because he's a foreigner whose first language is not English.

I used to think it was car stereos booming out every time there's a break in the clouds but now I'm thinking maybe it's the sky itself that has a really deep bass line

Yea, there's not the same problem with digital tvs so they've now legalised AM and SSB use.

The President George II is a very nice rig if you fancy spending over £300 on one: https://www.kcb.co.uk/contents/en-uk/p5 ... ge-II.html

If you don't want to spend that much maybe something like this: https://www.kcb.co.uk/contents/en-uk/p5 ... T-600.html

Ah, good to know there's no interference.

I deplore violence. I believe in democracy. I don't think average people should have access to guns. These are difficult things to reconcile with a niggling sense of disappointment today. Learning about myself.
